EC2 Windows console through Logmein

I install the www.logmein.com Free edition and contact the console through it.

This also enables you to access the machine from any machine where you dont have RDP, but simply through a webbrowser (Google Chrome or IE preferred, Firefox supported).

With logmein you can also grant a single user (through his email address) access to a specific machine.

Hamachi

Hamachi (peer to peer VPN client) is also a nice feature to access your machine after stop and start independent from the machines changed IP. This saves you the cost of an Elastic IP (if your machine is not running all the time Amazon charges around 7 USD per month for unconnected Elastic IP)
