Google Hot Trends - the hourly updated news spike

As everything in our worldseems to speed up, I have found another top favorit tool for me being an infojunkie. Now I not only can see thorugh Newspapers Agencies what is coming up today.

If they are slow (you know the Newspapers just copy the Agencies after within a few hours) there is a new way to se quickly (every hour) what is hot in the informationworld.

Google Hot Trends

Like Google Trends shows you the searchvolume from a range of weeks or months you can now have a look into a more detailed and speedy update about "whats hot" and "whats coming up".

So I am able to be a little nearer to my dream. Getting information about amazing news stories again quicker and also being able to see how big the reaction shockwave through the audience is.

So I will watch how fast the 'spike' in a news story goes up and down, and then see how slow the mainstream media is, or how they try to expand a story or push it due to some reasons only they have (politics, money,...)
