iPhone 2.0

Apple makes some updates to the iphone. 3G (UMTS) seems to be included now, but no signs of flash working in the browser. The focus is more on games, exchange (the proprietary email-Server from Microsoft Corporation) sync and the like, which drives the device more into the gadget- than business market as Apple tries to get ground in the Blackberry and Palm playground.

The iPhone will soon be $200 cheaper and support satellite navigation and faster Internet access, but higher monthly service charges are likely to erase most of the savings.
