Dear Guests
Please be advised that SkyEurope has suspended its sales and operations immediately.
Those of you who have purchased flights with a credit card, please turn to your credit card issuing bank to seek refunds for unused portions of SkyEurope's flights.
In case you have paid directly to SkyEurope in other means than credit card (e.g. bank transfer, cash), please be advised that a refund may not be possible.
If you have ordered your flight tickets via a travel agency or organizer, you should discuss the matter with them first.
If you are already at the destination or have rented a car through SkyEurope's business partner, you may stay at the hotel and use the vehicle during the period originally agreed. You must, however, order a return flight from some other airline at your own expense.
You may also wish to contact your insurance provider to seek further guidance and support.

SkyEurope Airlines, a. s. ("company"), is an air carrier operating and offering services of an air carriage for the wide spectrum of passengers throughout Europe. To ensure the proper performance of the company’s services and performance of its other concurrent activities, it is material for the company to gather, gain and process the personal data of the customers.
The company acknowledges that the supply of customers’ personal data to third parties is a very sensitive issue and for this reason the safeguard of the personal data is one of the main goals of the company. Extremely high level of responsibility and care is bestowed to the process of gathering, gaining and processing of personal data of the customers.
The company gathers, gains and processes the personal data of its customers mainly for the purposes of and/or in relation to:
* flight reservation and related administration,
* provision of services related to the air carriage in cooperation with the contracting partners of the company,
* participation by the customer in the competitions, games and advertising campaigns of the company,
* simplification of the access to the internet web site of the company - so called cookies,
* processing and handling of the passengers' claims.
To ensure the providing of company's services and organising of the ancillary activities the customers are required to supply the company with the personal data, these being mainly the name and surname of the customer or participant, customer's or participant's mailing or e-mail address, telephone number, number of credit or debit card and date of their expiration, number and type of travel document, citizenship, date of birth. Since the person making flight reservation may make reservation for more than one person, it is inevitable for such person to also provide the company with the names and surnames of all persons for whom the reservation is being made. Person making the reservation must provide the company with all personal data designated as mandatory.
The company gathers, gains and processes the personal data in the extent corresponding to the specific purpose.
Flight reservation
The personal data supplied at the time of making of the flight reservation enable the company to process the request of the customer and to provide the customer with proper and in time performance of the air carriage to the required final destination.
The personal data hereby supplied shall also be used to contact the customer and inform him/her accordingly in the event of any changes in the flight reservation or in the air carriage itself.
Services provided in relation to the air carriage
The company provides the services related to the air carriage in the extent of securing the bus transport between Bratislava (the Slovak Republic) and Vienna (the Austrian Republic).
The bus transport between Bratislava and Vienna is being carried out by the contracting partner of the company. To secure and provide the appropriate bus transport to the customers it is necessary for the company to supply the personal data of the customers having ordered the bus transport to the contracting partner in the strictly necessary extent, that is usually the name and surname of the customer and sort of credit card which was used to pay for the bus transport.
Competitions, games, advertising campaigns
In case a customer intends to participate in the competitions, games and advertising campaigns organised by the company, the participant must provide the company with his/her personal data for the purposes of organisation, evaluation and possibly contacting the winners.
The participation in competitions, games and advertising campaigns is voluntary and also means that the personal data of the participants will be included in the database system of the company. Inclusion of the personal data in the database system of the company will allow the participants to gain free information on the latest actions, destinations and other activities of the company by e-mail.
The participants may at any time ask for deletion from the database system of the company, also in a form of an e-mail.
Cookies
Cookies are residual information stored on the hard drive system of the user’s computer and enable the company to identify the user in a way that it is not necessary for the user to fill in his/her personal data repeatedly when making a flight reservation. These data shall be automatically displayed on the monitor of the user’s computer. The user may have his/her computer configured so that the cookies are not stored on the hard drive system of the user's computer.
Claims
To process and handle the customer's claim, the customer must supply the company, in addition to the personal data listed at the beginning of this document, also with the supplementary personal data such as bank account, business name of the bank in which the bank account is held etc.
Gathering, gaining and processing of the personal data
Company gathers, gains and processes the personal data obtained exclusively based on the direct telephone or personal communication with the customer or through the computer system by using the internet web site of the company by the customer. Personal data of the customers are recorded in a computer form and stored in the computer database system of the company.
Personal data protection and their supply to the third parties
Only the limited number of company's employees has access to the personal data of the customers and each such employee is bound by confidentiality obligation. Personal data of the customers are provided by the company to the third parties only in the strictly inevitable extent and exclusively for the purposes of provision of services in relation to the air carriage as well as to the state authorities in cases where the company is obliged to do so by the law. Under the provisions of EC Directive No.2004/82/EC implemented in the Slovak republic by the Act No.558/2005 of Coll. the company is namely obliged to provide at the request of the police authorities at the border crossing in a statutory extent the personal data of passengers transported to the territory of the Slovak republic through the exterior border.
The company does not publish the personal data.
Consent
The customer or the participant, by using the services of the company or by participating in its ancillary activities consents to gathering, gaining and processing of his/her personal data in a manner described above. In case the customer decides to use the company’s services or participate in its ancillary activities, the customer is obliged to supply the company with his/her personal data for the purposes and in the extent state herein.
In relation to the submitting and processing of the customer's or participant's personal data, the customer or the participant has all the rights arising for him/her from the law of the Parliament of the Slovak Republic, No. 428/2002 Coll. on protection of personal data, as amended, and from the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council 95/46/EC of October 24, 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data as amended by Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) No. 1882/2003 of September 29, 2003.
