Toilet money
In Japan somebody leaves banknotes on the toilet.
The first donation was found in a toilet of a municipal cemetery in Shizuoka in September 2006.
The number of 10,000-yen notes left in local government halls across Japan has reached more than 400, but the identity of those who left them still remains unknown.
The 10,000-yen notes were mostly wrapped in paper with letters. Many of the letters say that the money should be spent on studying and training or that those who are given the money should carry out good deeds.
