Tomohiro Kato

Tomohiro Kato, 25, a part-time worker in a car parts factory in the central Japan prefecture of Shizuoka, drove a white two-ton rental truck into a crowd of pedestrians, running over at least three people and then emerging from the truck with a large knife, to kill 7 and injuring 10. The rampage fell on the seventh anniversary of the most notorious knife attack in recent Japanese history of Mamoru Takuma.
