HowTo connect to #ubuntu IRC Internet Relay Chat

sudo apt-get install xchat

> Applications > Internet > XChat IRC
- fill in Nickname to RealName
- in the section Networks: select "FreeNode"
- click the [Connect] button

/join #ubuntu (or get the list of "channels" (the things starting with #) from the Server Menu and make your last mouseclick of the hour ;-))

- watch for 10 minutes and learn
- give and get Ubuntu Support
- If you want to answer, type the username of the asking users username as the first word

- Log (Archive) Example http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/ > brwose to the day, press [Strg+F] type "#ubuntu.html" and click to see the #ubuntu log of that day
